The Justice R Raghupathy commission will also probe the individuals responsible for the mishap, confirm their role, and submit recommendations to avoid recurrence of such incidents, a government statement stated.
The commission will submit its findings to the state government.

“Proper action would be taken based on the report submitted by the commission,” Jayalalithaa said.
The collapse of the 11-storeyed building on June 28 has claimed 59 lives as of now.
Around 27 people have been saved alive from the debris and were undergoing treatment.
The chief minister has announced a compensation of Rs 7 lakh to the death victims hailing from the state and Rs 2 lakh for those who came from outside.
The state has also announced Rs 50,000 each for those who were injured.
