Tuki reshuffles portfolios of cabinet ministers

Tanga Byaling, Setong Sena, Bosiram Siram and Rajesh Tacho among ministers with newly allocated portfolios

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, who allocated portfolios to three newly inducted cabinet ministers on March 1, also reshuffled the portfolios of a few cabinet ministers, an official order said today.
 
The portfolios allocated to the ministers include Tanga Byaling (Power Electrical, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj); Setong Sena (Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development); Bosiram Siram (Education, Library, S&T, Parliamentary Affairs & Law, Legislative & Judicial) and Rajesh Tacho (Urban Development, Housing, Town Planning & Fisheries).
 
While, former Water Resources Development minister Newlai Tingkhatra has been relieved of his earlier department and entrusted with the responsibility of Department of Tirap, Changlang and Longding (DoTCL) besides state transport, the order stated.

The portfolios of other ministers include Kamlung Mossang (Food & Civil Supplies, Geology & Mining & WRD); Tapang Taloh (Industries, Textile, Handloom & Handicrafts & Supply & Transport); Pema Khandu (Tourism, Art & Culture & Civil Aviation).
 
On February 28 last, Tuki inducted three cabinet ministers after dropping former Finance, Planning and PWD Minister Chowna Mein, Transport Minister Jarkar Gamlin and Health and Family Welfare Minister Atum Welly.
 
The newly inducted ministers and their portfolios include, Kalikho Pul (Health & Family Welfare, social welfare women and child development, Social Justice, Empowerment & Tribal Affairs); Gojen Gadi (Public Works Department) and Kumar Waii (Rural Works Department).
 
The CM however, retained all departments not assigned to any cabinet minister, the order said.
