The Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF) has collaborated with the Jaipur International Fashion Week (JIFW), paving the way for 150 of its students to have hands-on experience during the star-studded event.
The JIFW, which is being held from September 15-19, 2010 at ‘Clarks Amer’ Hotel in the city, will see 150 of Pearl’s students from its Jaipur campus, assisting visiting international designers in the successful management and execution of their shows during the fashion week.
This is the first ever International Fashion Week organized in the pink city which is well received by participating designers, entertainers and celebrities from across the world including many from Italy, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and UAE. The designers are here to showcase a crossover of international culture and the debut fashion show has revealed this is definitely not an event meant for the fashion fatigued.
“It gives us immense pleasure to be associated with the Jaipur International Fashion Week in the very first year of its inception. This event provides a strong platform as one of the best industry experience opportunities for our PAF Jaipur students to hone their talent and prepare themselves for the demands of this rapidly evolving industry”, said Mr. A K G Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion.
