Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. (TI) (BSE: 507205), India’s fastest growing manufacturer of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), has begun trading in the National Stock Exchange from today, July 16, 2010. The development is expected to improve the liquidity of the scrip and increase its accessibility across India.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Lalit Sethi, Chief Financial Officer, Tilaknagar Industries Ltd. Says, “This is a major development and comes in the wake of impressive financial performance over the last few years.” The scrip will be traded under the symbol of “TI’.
A key player in the South, TI’s flagship brand Mansion House Brandy leads the market in its segment across various markets. “With a market share of 56% in Andhra Pradesh, 78% in Kerala, 97% in Karnataka, 42% in Tamil Nadu, 78% in Pondicherry and almost 100% in Goa, Mansion House Brandy enjoys clear leadership position. Recently the alcohol major announced its 4th quarter results where in they announced record gross sales of over 1000 crores (including tie-up units). Their EBIDTA and PAT were also reported at a growth of 113% and 96% respectively.
