Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, has announced the inaugural Indian edition of Audi quattro Cup. The Audi quattro Cup ranks among the world’s major and most popular tournament series for amateur golfers.

With such unique similarities between the two, it was natural for us to bring this high-class international amateur golf tournament to India” explains Benoit Tiers, Managing Director Audi India.
2008 marks the staging of the 18th edition of this internationally acclaimed tournament series. Between April and September – at the invitation of respective regional Audi partners – the qualification tournaments is being held as “foursomes with selection drive” for teams of two players each.
In India, the tournament will feature over 200 amateur golfers at two national leg events at DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon (August 22nd, 2008) and Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore (September 6th, 2008).
The winners will qualify for participation in the Audi quattro Cup World Finals to be staged at the Golf Resort ABAMA on the Canarian Island of Tenerife from October 17th to 21st, 2008.
Golf plays a central role in Audi’s engagement in worldwide sponsorship.
