These include airports at Varanasi (Rs 5 crore), Jaipur (Rs 6 crore), Trivandrum (Rs. 9 crore), Mangalore (Rs 5 crore), Dehradun(Rs 2 crore), Amritsar (Rs 6 crore), Ahemdabad (Rs 13 crore), Nagpur (Rs 6 cr), Madurai (Rs 4 crore), Khajuraho (Rs 5 crore) and Pune (Rs 5 crore).
There has been tremendous surge in air passenger traffic across non metro airports in India and Airports Authority of India is upgrading 35 non-metro airports with a total investment of Rs 7,000 crore.
