CCCL bags the Renault-Nissan Automobile Plant

Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd (BOM:532902), an integrated construction service provider having projects in the industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure space has bagged two prestigious civil works order- the Renault-Nissan automobile plant as well as the Global Automotive Centre for the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP) in Chennai.

Chairman and CEO of CCCL Mr. R. Sarabeswar said, “We are very glad to have bagged these two prestigious projects. We are consolidating our presence in the automobile plant construction sector and winning these projects has strengthened our portfolio. CCCL is known for quality and on-time delivery of projects and we hope to give our best and complete these twin projects successfully.”

The Renault-Nissan project includes construction of stamping, paint shop, body shop, trim and chassis, power train buildings, process foundations and security. It also includes on a design and build basis, construction of Train/Data/Maintenance buildings for a value of more than Rs.140 crores. CCCL as per their strategy will focus on design and build jobs. The NATRIP contract for the Global Automotive Centre is valued at Rs.100 crores. Both these projects will be executed at Oragadam, Chennai.

CCCL has constructed buildings for Hyundai, Toyota and currently they are executing the Mahindra Automobile plant at Pune as well as the Automobile Research plant for the Mahindra Group at Chennai.

With these two orders, the total order backlog is Rs.3180 crores, which is to be executed over a period of 18 months.
