Jim to help explore long term, sustainable growth prospects in India.
D1-BP Fuel Crops today announces the appointment of Jim van Drunen Littel as Managing Director India, in addition to his existing role of Managing Director – Asia Pacific. Samiran Das, previously MD India, is leaving D1-BP Fuel Crops to pursue his other technical and professional interests.
Jim joined D1-BP Fuel Crops in 2008 as Managing Director Asia Pacific. With Jim’s appointment as Managing Director India, D1-BP Fuel Crops is looking to strengthen its leadership position in the region and create greater synergy and transfer of knowhow.
Speaking on Jim’s appointment Martin Jarvis, CEO D1-BP Fuel Crops said, “D1-BP Fuel Crops’ aim is to make sustainable biodiesel feedstock available commercially through the cultivation of the non-edible energy crop Jatropha curcas. We are pleased to appoint Jim as the new Managing Director, Asia Pacific & India. Prior to this role, Jim’s previous positions included SEA Regional Director and A/P Business Development & Strategy Director with Imperial Tobacco Plc, Managing Director Indonesia for Inchcape Plc, Managing Director JA Russell and BOH Plantations and Marketing Director Procter & Gamble Indonesia.
