Chennai, June 12, 2007: Exide Industries Limited has geared up to meet the adversities for car owners during the monsoons with its unique Bat Mobile service. This service which is the latest offering from Exide will help motorists who are stranded in their cars with a battery breakdown to be serviced by trained Exide personnel. The service is just a call away and qualified service personnel from Exide will be there within half an hour to provide necessary help.

This unique service from Exide has been introduced to provide service support to motorists who are otherwise unable to find timely and convenient help nearby especially during the monsoons. Exide vans well-equipped with the latest facilities and manned by trained personnel are placed in strategic locations of Chennai, ready to help out stalled cars. To provide easy access to motorists, Central Communication Centres have been set up with dedicated telephone lines to receive calls from customers.

This service is free of charge and what makes it even more lucrative is that it is available for motorists irrespective of the brand of battery which is fitted in their car. The service is currently available from 7 AM till midnight, seven days a week.
