Fashionista Launches new campus in Gurgaon

Fashionista, one of the India’s leading fashion institutes, has set up a new campus at Gurgaon, spread over an area of 5,000 sq meters (approx 54,000 sq feet). The new facility will provide education on par with its other campuses in Chandigarh, Delhi, Jamshedpur and Faridabad.

To mark the launch, the institute organized a grand fashion preview at the camous at Sector 14 Gurgaon. Bollywood stars Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhvan, and famous designer Abdul Haider were present on the ocassion, along with the MD of Fashionista, Neetu Pavan Manikatalia.

Kangana & Madhvan were impressed by the students’ talent. Kangana was particularly amazed by students’ creativity, and said that they had picked the theme ‘Tanu weds Manu’ well. She conveyed her best wishes to them and to Fashionista, and said the students were making a fashion statement.

Neetu Pavan Manikatalia, the Director of Fashionista said “Our vision is to develop artistic and academic potential in budding designers and our aim is to make Fashionista a landmark in the fashion fraternity by encouraging art expressions and proficient exchange of encounters, which boost creation and novelty within the industry and enable “trends to shine forth”.

Fashionista provides a host of facilities for world class education such as: design studio, drawing studio, art room, pattern making studio, sewing and cutting lab, weaving, and printing and embroidery lab, visual merchandising lab.
