Fidelity announces dividends in two funds

Fidelity Mutual Fund has announced dividends in the Fidelity Flexi Gilt Fund and Fidelity Wealth Builder Fund.

The dividend in the Fidelity Flexi Gilt Fund is Rs. 0.10 per unit (Face Value of Rs.10/- per unit), subject to adequacy and availability of distributable surplus.

The Fidelity Wealth Builder Fund has declared dividend of Rs 0.10, Rs 0.15 and Rs 0.25 per unit (Face Value of Rs.10/- per unit) under Plan A, Plan B and Plan C respectively, subject to adequacy and availability of distributable surplus.

The record date for the dividends is June 28, 2010 and all investors registered in the Dividend options of the funds on this date will receive the dividend.

Pursuant to payment of dividend, the NAV of the dividend options the scheme/ plans will fall to the extent of the amount of dividend declared and statutory levy (if applicable). Under the dividend reinvestment option, the dividend declared will be re-invested at the ex-dividend NAV announced immediately after the record date.

Past performance of Fidelity Flexi Gilt Fund and Fidelity Wealth Builder Fund - Plan A, Plan B and Plan C may or may not be sustained in future.

Fidelity Wealth Builder Fund is an open ended fund of funds scheme offering asset allocation options with three Plans. The fund manager uses a two-tier investment approach – asset allocation and fund selection – to invest in Fidelity’s funds.

The Fidelity Wealth Builder Fund offers three Plans with varying levels of exposure to debt and equity that investors can choose from depending on their risk appetite. Under Plan A, the Fund will invest around 15% in equity schemes and the remaining in debt schemes.
