FMCG companies have made it immensely attractive for consumers to brave the scorching summer heat to make that dash to the ‘Kirana’ or the supermarket, a treat. Companies are offering a range of goodies to make these shopping trips, worthwhile.

Wipro consumer care limited (WCCL ) has a lined up goodies with their soap brands, Chandrika and Santoor  Being summer, frequent baths are a norm and consumers tend to buy more soaps. Two 75g  bars of  Chandrika guarantees a notebook worth Rs 5, while 2 soaps from the  Forever variant comes with a Rs 5 sachet of fortifying Horlicks.  Santoor on the other hand, offers a pen free with two packs of it’s classic soap. Other fmcg companies have some equally interesting offers. Oral care giant, Colgate-Palmolive gives super value offer to its consumers. A 200gm+100gm value pack of Rs.86, comes with Colgate extra clean toothbrush free.

Rising prices of essentials has dented the average household budget, forcing consumers to compromise on their choices of brands.
