From tiny lens units in mobile phones to intricate lens mechanisms mounted on satellites, FUJIFILM optical technology shows the way.

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, Japan, one of the world’s largest photographic solutions company has incorporated the next-generation FUJINON lenses in its range of digital cameras.

According to Mr. Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, “It is no exaggeration to say that capabilities of a camera like high image quality, advanced zooming, wide-angle etc., are a feature of its lens. FUJINON lenses are highly rated and widely trusted in a broad range of genres including TV lenses, satellite optics lenses, binocular lenses and mobile phone lenses. Developed with many of the best functions in the world and some unique capabilities, FUJINON lenses are mounted on every FUJIFILM FinePix digital camera model.

Mr. A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager (DSC), FUJIFILM India, said, “With powerful zoom lenses, the greater the zoom, the more concern there is about colour distortion and blurring. By controlling the impact of chromatic aberration, no matter what the setting, the lens depicts what the eye sees. The technology for broadcast TV lenses, with its expressive power of recreating colours with vivid clarity, has equipped our digital cameras with high image quality and a powerful zoom.”

Distortions of image and colour arise when light passes through the lens. To control the impact, FUJIFILM has produced ultra-precision lenses with its ultra-precision processing technology, the result of advanced lens design and the skills of its technicians. FUJIFILM has made it possible to capture vivid images with high resolution. The technology, which is used for satellite lenses, now enhances the ability of digital cameras.

The phenomena of blurry or circles of light occur when light is reflected in the lens. FUJINON lenses have succeeded in keeping reflection loss to a minimum. Combining this picture performance with a technology for binoculars that adopts environmentally friendly eco-glass, FUJIFILM has created digital cameras that offer superb image clarity.
