Mumbai, March 14, 2008: Lavasa Corporation Ltd. has reached an agreement with UK-based Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), the largest group of independent schools in the UK, to set up a residential school at its site near Pune. The school will be a co-educational, fee-paying school for 1,000 pupils, with up to 700 of them boarding, and is due to open in September 2009. This will be GDST's first foray into education in India. |
