Among the first few players in the hospitality industry in the country to launch this initiative, the site has been designed to reach out to potential clients by providing an experiential service with details of the resort at the fingertip. 

In order to maximize user convenience and make the holiday more memorable, the site provides information like the resort facts, pictures and road map to The Serai. In addition to features like weather updates, cuisines available, and festivals at The Serai, will also available shortly. 

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has pegged the travel industry in Asia to grow at the rate of 7.5% per annum between 2009 and 2013. With a robust growth of the tourism sector the WAP site assumes significant importance and completes the customer’s experience as it will enable instant booking on any smart phone, giving travelers the convenience of doing bookings from anywhere and at anytime. 

“The number of mobile users is increasing at a rapid pace in India and most users now prefer to use their mobiles to browse the internet. Observing this trend we identified the need for a WAP site to reach out to our customers quickly and efficiently. The Serai WAP site is an extension of our website which is specially designed keeping in mind the mobile phone user and to enrich the Serai experience,” says Vejay Anand, President, Marketing and Sales, Coffee Day Hotels and Resorts. 

The Serai WAP site provides users with just the necessary information. The site is user friendly and provides easy navigation in a crisp and clear language. The mobile site is available on m.theserai.in and can be accessed from any mobile device, which has GPRS connectivity, anywhere in the world.
