18th – 21st September 2008 will witness the 3rd Edition of INDIAPACK, the most professionally run Packaging exhibition in India bringing a comprehensive range of products, equipment, services and technologies from across the world to meet the sourcing requirements of high value buyers. The event will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E) Mumbai, offering a wide choice to the buyers.
India has emerged as one of the major consumer markets in the Asian region. The Indian packaging industry is getting its due share in the consumer boom. It is estimated to be US$ 14 billion and is growing at 15% per annum. To meet the growing demand the industry peers are on look out for the latest products and technologies to develop state-of-the-art facilities.
INDIAPACK has served as an important platform for companies that provide an end to end solution to the packaging end users from pharmaceuticals, processed & fresh food industry, chemicals & confectionery, perfume & toiletries, cosmetics, toys, sports good and textile industry. The four day mega event is all set to take the packaging business in India to the next orbit of evolution. A high level Packaging Conference combined with The National Awards for Packaging Excellence viz. INDIASTAR & PACMACHINE will be held concurrent with the exhibition.
The last edition of the exhibition saw 190 exhibitors from 24 countries. It was attended by 12468 trade visitors and 800 delegates from India and overseas. An estimated US$ 68 million worth of business was transacted during the exhibition.
