Institute of Computer Accountants ties up with Annamalai University

ICA, the largest institute for computer accountants in India with more than 300 branches across the country announced an association with Southern India’s largest and most acclaimed Annamalai University to launch unique initiatives for the first time in India at a Press Conference in Delhi on Monday. Mr. N.K. Shyamsukha, Chairman, ICA Group, Mr. Amit Sharma Vice President were present at the occasion to brief the media. The most well known institutes in the field of computerized accountancy, ICA (Institute of Computer Accountants) launched B.Com (Finance & Investment) Courses in technical collaboration with Annamalai University, which has grown into a premier, unitary, residential institution of higher learning and research.

Under this program, a student will gain practical knowledge in Accounts, Taxation, Banking and ROC with latest softwares and Computer Application, which is a unique opportunity of the course. In the 2nd and 3rd year the student will get On Job Training and will earn while learning. It is this USP of the course, which is a first time ever, feature and sets the course apart from other courses in the sphere. As a result, at the end of the three-year degree course, the student will have two years of work experience as well as a degree of B.Com (Finance & Investment) from Annamalai University. This is a unique program launched for the first time in India in which B.Com degree is being given with 2 years of practical experience. The course will be available at various ICA centers at Delhi & Northern India. “This tie up will provide the students with a unique opportunity to acquire work experience while studying, after all experience matters when it comes to optimized career prospects. Keeping this in view Annamalai University has tied up with a professionally managed Institute like ICA to provide the best for students.

“ICA has a forceful team of more than 300 Chartered Accountants in its research and development team who work round the clock while keeping a close eye on the process of evolution of the subject of accountancy. This research and analysis is then used as the background for designing courses which aptly suits the requirement of modern industry, where we have found that work experience is an essential requirement in building ones’ career. This prompted us to go ahead with the tie-up,” added Mr. Shyamsukha, Chairman, ICA Group when asked about why he ventured into such a tie-up.

ABOUT ICA:
In the field of computerized accountancy ICA is no longer a new name. Since 1999 it has already traversed a long way. ICA- an ISO 9001 institute started its journey from Delhi seven Years back. Since then it has touched many new miles stones which the other institutes did not even dare to dream. Now within 10 years this small bud has taken shape of a mammoth structure which spread its wings in every nook and corner of India. Now it has over 300 branches all across India. It also have the plan for launching 150 more centres in one year concentrating mostly in southern region, mainly in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
