Inventure Growth & Securities Ltd. has shown encouraging result for the half year ended on 30th September 2011. Total income went up to Rs. 19.68 Crore, which showed 11.62% rise compared to the corresponding previous half of last year. Net profit after tax shot up to Rs. 5.67 Crore as compared to Rs. 4.27 Crore for the same period last year, which shows 32.79% rise compared to last half of the year. Basic & diluted EPS stands at Rs. 3.74.
For the quarter ended 30th September 2011, the net profit after tax was Rs.4.18 Crore on a total income of Rs.10.96 Crore. The company made IPO during the month of July 2011. Since the unaudited financial result as at 30th September 2011 is during the first year of the financial result to be filed and published by the company in compliance with clause 41 of listing agreement, the corresponding figures for the quartet ended 30th September 2010 are not available & hence not provided.
Mr. Nagji K. Rita, Chairman & Managing Director of Inventure Growth & Securities Ltd. stated that the company was in final stage of negotiations to take over a Mumbai based broking house. The company has been looking out to take over more broking houses & financial service companies.
