Jet Airways is pleased to announce a codeshare agreement with Virgin Atlantic with effect from 06 May 2009.
This new agreement means that guests can book with Virgin Atlantic to travel with Jet Airways on their double daily service between Mumbai and London Heathrow.
Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Chief Executive Officer, Jet Airways, commented, “Jet Airways is delighted to enter into a codeshare with Virgin Atlantic. The code share agreement between Virgin Atlantic and Jet Airways represents a significant step forward in strengthening the relationship between our two airlines. The Mumbai-London route holds great potential and we were looking to enhance our presence on this route by means of a codeshare partnership with a carrier whose commitment to service and product quality closely mirrors our own. In Virgin Atlantic, we believe we have found that partner.”

Our passengers will now benefit from more frequent flights under the Virgin Atlantic code for travel between London and Mumbai.”

Jet Airways also operates a daily service between Delhi and London Heathrow 9W 122 departs Delhi at 13.45 hrs and arrives into London at 18.30. On the return flight 9W121 departs London Heathrow and 20.45 and arrives into Delhi at 09.45.
Virgin Atlantic operates a daily service between London Heathrow and Delhi departing London Heathrow at 22:00 arriving into Delhi at 11:00 and departing Delhi at 13:15 arriving into London Heathrow at 17:55.
