Jet Airways introduces classic Rosenthal crockery in the Indian skies

Effective today Jet Airways’ Premiere guests on the airline's full service flights between Mumbai and Delhi will now enjoy gourmet four course meals, plated in iconic Rosenthal crockery, thus presenting unmatched luxury and elegance on board Jet Airways' selected domestic flights.

This new era of in-flight dining and service delivery, is in keeping with the airline's tradition of consistently setting and exceeding new industry benchmarks.

The delectable new menus have been designed and prepared by the master chefs of the famed Oberoi Flight Kitchen, offering Premiere guests an unparalleled dining experience onboard the airline's flights.

Economy guests may choose from a selection of delicious Indian and Continental favourites, served on a trendy, new range of Dutch tableware known as ‘The Landscape’, acclaimed for its contemporary and fresh design.

According to Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, CCO, Jet Airways, “As India’s leading airline and a trailblazing pioneer in several aspects of the Indian aviation industry, Jet Airways has always led the way, both in operational or service delivery excellence. With the introduction of our new dining service on flights between Mumbai and Delhi, Jet Airways has yet again raised the industry benchmark, re-defining the dining paradigm in the Indian skies.”

The new service, while currently available only on Jet Airways’ Mumbai-Delhi flights, will progressively be made available on the airline’s other major domestic metro services as well.

Konnect Select’ is a premium economy product introduced on certain Jet Airways Konnect flights. This new front cabin class features wider and more comfortable seats, with a 44 inch seat pitch. JetLite is a subsidiary of Jet Airways India Ltd. and was acquired by Jet Airways in April 2007. Positioned as an all-economy, no-frills airline, JetLite operates a fleet of 18 aircraft, which includes 16 Boeing 737 series and 2 Canadian Regional Jets 200 Series aircraft. The airline flies to 27 domestic destinations and 1 international destination (Kathmandu), operating over 110 flights a day, on average.
