Jet Airways' JetPrivilege wins Freddie Awards accolades 5th year in a row

Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege, India’s largest and most recognized frequent flyer programme, has been honoured at the prestigious Freddie Awards for the fifth year in a row, having emerged victorious again in the ‘Best Elite Level’ category, for the second year in a row, at the 21st Annual presentation ceremony of the Freddie Awards 2008, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA on April 23, 2009.

Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege was voted the 'Best Elite Level' program by flyers across the Japan, Asia Pacific and Australia region. The category is based on the various benefits that the Elite or Top tier members get with any frequent flyer programme.

JetPrivilege Elite tier members enjoy several special tier benefits, including a "Tier Bonus", additional baggage allowance, lounge access, check-in at Premiere counters; upgrade vouchers to upgrade to higher class of service; priority stand-by at airports; guaranteed reservations up to 24 hours prior to departure on any domestic full-fare Economy booking; Cancellation fees waived on published fares; Waiver of Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit Card annual fees, among other benefits.*

In addition to its victory in the ‘Best Elite Level’ category, JetPrivilege also emerged as the Runner-up in four individual categories, including ‘Program of the Year’, ‘Best Affinity Credit Card’, ‘Best Award’ and ‘Best Website’.

It was also the 2nd Runner-up in three individual categories, including ‘Best Customer Service’, ‘Best Member Communications’ and ‘Best Award Redemption’.
