Kamdhenu Ispat all set to Colour India with Its Paints Brand - Colour Dreamz

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. with its robust footprints in Indian's construction and infrastructure sectors has forayed into Paint segment with an initial investment of Rs. 30 crores in its own Paints manufacturing unit at Chopanki in Bhiwadi Rajasthan. With this the Company is all set to launch its new division in the Paint Segment with its Paint brand aptly called – Colour Dreamz. Mr. Satish Kumar Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd, unveiled their latest Decorative & Designer Range in its brand – Colour Dreamz with Emulsions, Enamels, Distempers, Textured & Designer Finishes, Primers & ancillary products.

Commenting on the development Mr. Satish Kumar Agarwal said, "We have strategically invested into paint segment with a view to harness the immense opportunity that the booming construction sector is offering. For this we have financed through funding from banks and margins from internal accruals of the Company." Initially focusing on Northern India, sales depots of Kamdhenu Paints have been set up in UP, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, HP and Rajasthan. Soon there will new sales depots for Colour Dreamz in MP and Uttrakhand. These fully equipped sales depots will act as the single window for the mass sales and distribution in the target states' markets and make the products available to the consumers quickly and efficiently.

The Company is targeting decorative or architectural segments of paint. Catering to the housing sector, Kamdhenu's decorative paints can further be classified into premium, medium and economy segments. Premium Decorative paints are Textured/Designer finishes; Elastomeric Coatings & Premium brand of Acrylic Emulsions used both in Exterior & Interiors. Distempers which have different categories are widely popular in all metros, towns & urban markets due to its easy availability & application. The water based Emulsions is the fastest growing segment accounting for 35-40% of product mix contribution followed by Enamels, Distempers, Primers & so on. As per the market studies there are around 25000-30000 Paint Dealers across the country & leading Paint Companies directly cater to around 15000 – 17000 dealers only. Studies show that the India's Paint Industry is growing at the annual rate of around 18-20%.

According to the industry sources, in India the organized sector controls 65 percent of the total market with the remaining 35 percent being in the hands of nearly 2000 small-scale units. The country's industrial paint segment accounts for 30 percent of the paint market while the decorative paint segment accounts for 70 per cent of paints sold in India.

Kamdhenu Ispat Ltd. has strategically placed its market outreach with over 2500 dealers and distributors network that are already in the market bringing Kamdhenu brand products closer to the consumers.
