Maersk Line bagged 3 awards at the 14th Annual CONCOR North-West Region Awards, held recently in Ahmedabad.
Maersk Line won awards for Best performance by a Shipping Line at ICD Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Best performance by a Shipping Line at RCT Vadodara and Best performance by a Shipping Line at Pipavav.
The CONCOR North-West Region Award aimed to felicitate the top performing (in volumes) exporters, importers, CHAs, Shipping Lines & Domestic cargo movers in the North-West region for FY 2009-10.
The award function was held at Rajpath Club in Ahmedabad and was attended by several dignitaries including Ms. Lipika Majumdar Roy Choudhury - Chief Commissioner Customs, Gujarat, Mr. Yash Vardhan - Director, CONCOR International Marketing & Operations, Mr. Amit Kumar - Chief General Manager, CONCOR North West Region, Ms. Saroj Ayush - Chief Manager CONCOR, ICD Sabarmati, the Chairman of Ahmedabad CHA association and senior customs officers, amongst others.
Said Mr Sanjay Tiwari, Sales Director, Maersk Line India, “This award is a true reflection of the support that our customers have provided us over the years. We thank our customers and CONCOR for recognizing our efforts in the past year and hope to build on this performance this year.”
Zeeshan Mukhi, Sales Manager, Ahmedabad, received the award on behalf of Maersk Line at the hands of Ms. Lipika Choudhury and Mr. Yash Vardhan.
