Passenger Cars Mahindra Renault sold 2890 units of frugal and affordable wide body sedan, Logan, in the month of July. Logan is the highest selling sedan. Scorpio is the highest selling UV. Domestic sales M&M's domestic sales were recorded as 18536 units as opposed to 12481 units in the same month last year, a growth of over 49%. Exports The company exported 627 vehicles in July 2007 a 4% dip in contrast to 655 units in the corresponding period last fiscal. M&M posts 18% rise in tractor exports in July Mahindra & Mahindra's Farm Equipment sector, a part of the $4.5 billion Mahindra Group with a growing global presence, saw a significant 18% rise in tractor exports, while domestic sales dipped 9%. India's leader in tractors posted volumes of 6368 for July F08 as compared with 7000 in July F07. The total sales volume for the month stood at 6987 including exports, against 7526 in F07. Cumulative sales (April to July) showed a marginal dip of 1% over the same period last fiscal. The company posted total sales volumes of 34278 tractors in F08 including exports as compared with 34884 in F07 in the same period last year. |
