Mahindra launches premium lifestyle accessories brand

Mahindra & Mahindra, the makers of India's most successful SUV Scorpio, launched a range of premium lifestyle accessories branded "S - Nothing Else Will Do". Mahindra is the first Indian brand in the four wheeler segment to enter this space.
 
 
The launch of the premium lifestyle merchandise is a part of Mahindra's brand extension strategy for the Scorpio, one of India's most successful products in the automobile market.
 
 
Brand extension using accessories has been a model successfully followed by global automotive majors owning premium & cult brands. Mahindra is pioneering this challenging but innovative international strategy in the Indian four wheeler market to satisfy the demand of a rising number of customers, who want to be associated with the brand.
 
 
"The Scorpio is a brand that evokes India's global and progressive mindset and has in a short number of years since its launch seeped into the consciousness of the discerning customer. Our premium range of lifestyle accessories would appeal to those customers for whom the car is an extension of who they are and what they aspire to be. The merchandise range that promises to create a style statement for its owners includes branded Polo neck & Round neck T shirts, coffee tumblers, Stylized key chains, Stylized caps, and miniature Scorpio model toy cars.

The launch is one more step towards the continuous evolution of Scorpio as an iconic brand in India. The lifestyle accessories promise to complement the premium space occupied by India's most popular SUV - the Scorpio as well as the newly launched lifestyle SUV the Scorpio Getaway. It is a collection designed to exhibit outstanding quality, design and attitude. The S collection would be available at all Scorpio dealerships in a phased manner.
 
 
The design and quality of each of the products under The S collection has been benchmarked against international products of its genre. The lifestyle collection is designed by Mahindra Intertrade (www.mahindraintertrade.com/), which is the retail consultant for the project. Mahindra Intertrade has distribution tie-ups with brands like Walt Disney, LEGO and other Apparel Brands.
