Manish Jain to head Yes Bank's financial advisory biz

Mumbai, July 10, 2007: YES BANK, India's new age private sector Bank today announced the appointment of Manish Jain as Country Head "� Business Banking Financial Advisory. YES BANK, as a Bank for "Emerging India" recognises the significant contribution made by the mid-market segment, and the tremendous potential that lies in this critical part of Indian Industry.

YES BANK lays significant focus to the financial needs of this emerging sector, which represents India 's next generation of industry leaders, and is committed to supporting the sustainable growth and development of sunrise sectors in the country to facilitate overall development through strategic initiatives.

Manish, in this important leadership position, will be spearheading the newly formed business unit that would provide complete end-to-end investment banking services to the Bank's Emerging Corporate & Business Banking clients.

Manish brings with him over 13 years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining YES BANK, he was with Brescon Corporate Advisors Ltd., heading their Distressed M&A and Private Equity practices.

Prior to this, Manish was the Vice President "� Corporate Finance at Strategic Capital Corporation Pvt. Ltd., where he was responsible for the initiation and development of corporate relationships for both equity and debt related products. He has also worked with SBI Capital Markets Ltd., heading one of the industry groups handling privatisation, M&A, financial restructuring and private equity placement.

Manish has an MBA (Finance) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, and has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT).
