MCHI Property 2009 exhibition gets overwhelming response

Over 60,496 home aspirants visited the recently held Property 2009 exhibition, organized by Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry, making the MCHI’s annual housing fair an astounding success. The four-day exhibition, which commenced from October 1, 2009, was held at Bandra Kurla Complex.

In the view of current real estate market scenario where there is a growing demand for housing properties, Property 2009 exhibition played a very important role to guide home seekers in the right direction. The MCHI has been organizing the mega housing exhibitions in order to offer best of the opportunities to the potential buyers. MCHI’s credentials are enhanced further with continuous encouraging response from the potential buyers this year as well.

Commenting on the success of the exhibition, Mr. Pravin Doshi, President MCHI said “There is huge demand in the property market and the same has been proved with the massive response to the Property 2009 exhibition organized by Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry. This is the right time for the home seekers to buy properties as the rates are very comfortable despite the continuous good demand across all the locations.”

Property 2009, India’s only official and biggest real estate exhibition organized biannually by the MCHI for last ten years, is a one-stop destination for prospective property buyers in Mumbai. More than 320 properties by over 78 real estate developers and 17 housing finance companies were on display at MCHI property 2009. The exhibition was organized by MCHI and co-organized by State Bank of India, Platinum Partners were ICICI Home Finance Company Ltd., Axis Bank, and LIC Housing Finance Ltd. IDBI Bank was the Gold Partner while HDFC Ltd. Silver partner.

The mega housing exhibition offered opportunity to the prospective buyers with various Home loans options from leading HFI’S / Banks like Citibank N. A., Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited, GIC Housing Finance Ltd, IDBI Home Finance Ltd., Standard Chartered Bank, and others.

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority and Mumbai Police has made the event as one of the prestigious for the MCHI by setting up their stalls in the exhibition.

‘Online Property Expo 2009’ organized by Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI ) in association with India’s one of the largest online real estate portal iProperty.com also received an encouraging response. The portal has recorded more than 1.3 lakh visitors across the globe in four days, generating over 3.5 lakh page views with average time spent online counting to 27 minutes, which is indeed a good statistics to indicate bullish real estate market.
