New Delhi, September 15 2006: PepsiCo, the leading snacks and beverage company in India, is committed to offering the great tasting, healthy choices. Exemplifying this tradition is Tropicana's re-launch of 100% orange juice, now available in a delicious, new formulation. The new Tropicana 100% orange juice has been developed on the basis of extensive consumer research and key insights.

"As a company, it has been our constant endeavour to recognize the needs of our consumers and consistently innovate and re-create enjoyable and healthy beverage choices. We are confident that the delicious, new Tropicana 100% orange juice is the best as it is made from naturally sun ripened oranges with no preservatives and no added sugar.

The product has tested well with consumers across the country and has scored very high on taste. We are confident that the improved formulation will help build consumer preference towards Tropicana 100% orange juice", said Ms. Geetu Verma - Vice President, New Business Market Unit, PepsiCo India.

Products revolving around the "health" platform have emerged as the growth driver for PepsiCo India this year. Within the beverage market in India, the 350 crore fruit juice category has been growing phenomenally and Tropicana's growth has been faster than the category.

The re-launch of Tropicana 100% orange juice is bound to increase the popularity of Tropicana's range of juices. The new Tropicana 100% Orange juice is created in a way that brings together the natural great taste and high nutrition of the best of oranges. It is a good source of Vitamin C, carbohydrates, protein, potassium, folate and thiamin, B6. Oranges are also known for their antioxidant, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory qualities that contribute to the high nutrition provided in the juice.
