Order Book Position Jumps to Rs 2,250 crore
R.P.P. Infra Projects Ltd, one of the India's leading and fast growing Non Metro/Rural based company engaged in the business of infrastructure development such as highways, roads, bridges, civil construction works, irrigation and water supply projects and power plants, has won a contract for strengthening of Contour Canal in Parambikulam and Aliyar in Tamil Nadu. With the winning of this project, the Company’s Order Book position has jumped to Rs. 2,250 crore.
The contract awarded by the Superintending Engineer of PWD/WRD at Pollachi, involves the rehabilitation of Contour Canal from L.S 0.000 km to 11.480km and from L.S. 30.100km to 49.300km. This project of the Public Works Department of Tamil Nadu will be completed within 36 months.
Commenting on this project, Mr. Arul Sundaram, Chairman and Managing Director of R.P.P. Infra Projects Ltd, said that “We are happy to announce that with this deal in Tamil Nadu we are further strengthening our business and are able to win this multi-million contract. R.P.P Infra's vast experience, strong expertise and timely execution has been our key to winning this deal.” Currently RPP is developing an Rs 149 crore township project for NTPC and TNEB in Vallur, Northern Chennai.
It is worth noting that R.P.P. Infra has recently won Rs 1,500 crore mass housing project in Republic of Gabon in addition to Rs 100 crore SEZ project in Gabon. These projects are also scheduled to be completed in 36 months.
R.P.P. Infra Projects has successfully completed more that 200 civil projects mainly in states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It has also forayed in to Sri Lanka for railway project and Republic of Gabon for mass housing project.
