Wins awards for ‘Best Commodity Broker of the Year’ and ‘Best Initiative for Investor Education’

Religare Securities Limited (RSL), the broking arm of Religare Enterprises Limited (REL), has been conferred with 2 awards, in the categories of “Best Commodity Broker” and “Best Investor Education & Category Enhancement initiatives for Currency Broking” at the Bloomberg UTV “Financial Leadership Awards”, held on April 07th, 2012 in Mumbai.

Religare Broking was the only firm to get two awards this year and was nominated as finalists in 4 categories including Best equity broker, Best commodity broker, Best currency broker, and Best commodity research.

The Awards were presented by the Hon’ble Finance Minister, Shri Pranab Mukherjee and the ceremony was attended by the country’s leading policy makers, business leaders, economists and experts.

The Financial Leadership Awards have been instituted to acknowledge the extraordinary contribution of India’s financial leaders and visionaries. India’s leading financial companies in categories like Banking, Insurance, Mutual Funds and Broking (Commodities, Equities, and Currency) participated in the Awards. The best in league were selected by an eminent jury on the basis of a detailed methodology, process validation and research.
