To offer discounted surgery to over 100 needy patients
R G Stone, the first Super specialty Urology Institute to introduce “SIEMENS LITHOTRIPSY” in India will conduct a free health check up camp on Sunday, August 22, 2010 to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the hospital. The daylong health checkup would be organized at East of Kailash, Pitampura and Rajouri Garden centers between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The patients will have to register themselves by paying a nominal fee of Rs.200.
The camp includes free check up for the visitors for a number of tests - Prostate-specific antigens (PSA), Liver Function Test, Kidney Function Test, whole abdomen Ultrasound, Uroflowmetry and X-Ray diseases and special consultations with the Senior Urologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at RG Stone Hospital. The above tests would otherwise cost Rs 2000 on any regular day. The Hospital would give an additional 20 to 25 percent discount to patients who are underprivileged. These tests can help detect the diseases at the early stages and also play an important role in the treatment of Prostate Cancer and Kidney Cancer.
