Accreditation received for Accident & Health Claims Processes Demonstration of Royal Sundaram’s observance to highest standards of quality

Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited (www.royalsundaram.in), the first private sector general insurance company in India to be licensed, announced the successful renewal of International Organizational for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification for their Accident and Health Claims Processes. The renewal is extended for next 3 years. The accreditation signifies Company’s adherence to the highest standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of its claims operations.

The audit for certification was performed by Bureau Veritas, world leader in conformity, assessment and certification services. The stringent audit highlighted the Company’s strengths in system implementation and agility in claims services. The audit confirmed maintenance of transparency in system by committed and highly skilled employees across offices of Royal Sundaram.

Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Bimbhet, Managing Director said, “In an environment of cut-throat competition, it is the services rendered that mark the distinction. Service superiority can only be achieved with continual improvement of system and excelling the standards set forth at every level in the operation chain. ISO certification is a testimony of our commitment to uphold superior customer service delivery.”

Royal Sundaram’s A & H claims processes were awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification, first time in July 2008. The certification was then upgraded to 2008 standards last year.
