Sahara Hospital celebrates its first anniversary

Sahara Hospital, the multi-disciplinary, super-speciality, Tertiary Care Hospital, today, completed its first year of inception. On this occasion, the hospital announced the inauguration of Medical & Surgical Oncology Department, Endoscopic Aesthetic Surgery & Micro Hair Transplant Unit and High End Dentistry. The anniversary was marked by cake cutting ceremony by Smt. Swapna Roy, Dy. Managing Worker, Sahara India Pariwar, at Sahara Hospital Gomti Nagar.

The Cancer Centre at Sahara Hospital will treat all Cancer cases pertaining to Medical & Surgical Oncology with the help of latest generation high-tech equipments and infrastructure to the people. The Hospital has launched oncology department is equipped with dedicated Chemotherapy ward and surgical oncology department with addition of Radiation Oncology very soon. On the eve of completion of one year of Sahara Hospital, a three day workshop has been organized on Endoscopic Aesthetic Surgery & Micro Hair Transplant Unit, where faculties of national and international repute are demonstrating various procedures pertaining to plastic surgery.

The hospital has recently started its Dermatology, Medical & Surgical Oncology and Dentistry and augmented the services of Heart Care Centre, Nephrology, Urology & Urogynaecology, Gastroenterology, Gastro Surgery and Opthalmology. The specialities add to the wide spectrum of basic as well as high end critical treatment, round-the-clock. 

The Heart Care Center, equipped with state-of-the art technology and experienced surgeons is capable of performing Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeries including Beating Heart (Off Pump) Surgery and Valve Replacement Surgeries alongwith surgeries like Mediastinal Masses, Lung Surgeries etc. The Nephrology Department offers continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) with portable RO plant for bedside dialysis of critically ill patients. Peritoneal Dialysis to the admitted patient and CAPD for the patients of CRF for ambulatory dialysis at home is also available. Urodynamic Study Lab for voiding disorders and Lithotripter for Non-operative treatment of Kidney Stone is an integral part of Urology and Urogynaecology Department. Capsule Endoscopy is offered by Gastroenterology Department.

The Opthalmology Department has been upgraded to provide Phaco Surgery for Cataract with minimal incision, Anterior Chamber, Corneal Diseases, Retina Clinic, Glaucoma Clinic, Squint Clinic and Pediatric Ophthalmology.
