Santoor, the flagship brand of Wipro Consumer Care which is valued at over Rs. 950 crore at consumer value is a clear no. 3 brand at All India level in value terms. Santoor revenues grew 19% in Q4 and 27% for the year 08-09, much ahead of market growth rates. All India market share in value terms grew to 8.6% (Feb 09 period). Santoor is the biggest brand in Andhra Pradesh with 31.3% (Feb 09 period) value market share and becomes the second big brand in rural Maharashtra.
