8 new programs are Sonic The Hedgehog, Kitty’s Paradise, Offside, Action Man, The Great Book of Nature, Bump in The Night, Wish Kid, Inspector Fabre; Programs are designed with the unique concept of edutainment.
Spacetoon Kids TV, India’s first free-to-air kids Edutainment channel with its unique classification concept of ten planets is all set to launch 8 new programs this summer. These new shows are a mix of adventure, action, comedy, sports etc. and present distinctive features with an educative value.
The channel was launched on January 14th this year with all the programs categorized according to the solar system, which consists of ten planets, “depending on the suitability for a particular audience.” A different set of programs and characters on each planet attracts a distinct, targeted audience. Spacetoon Kids TV gives out social and moral messages, along with entertainment which encourages stable, loving family relationships including respect for adults.

- Sonic The Hedgehog: Action Planet
Sonic the Hedgehog is the No.1 character recognized worldwide. Sonic, as a fearless leader of a group of freedom fighters, attempts to free the citizens of Mobius from the tyranny of the evil Dr. Robotnik.

- Kitty’s Paradise: Girl’s Planet
It is a program revolving around Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty lives in London, England with her parents and her twin sister, Mimi. These third graders have lots of friends at school with they whom share many adventures. More often, it's Hello Kitty who leads the group, and usually they all end up learning an important lesson in the process. Her hobbies include eating yummy cookies that her sister Mimi bakes, and best of all, as Hello Kitty always says, "You can never have too many friends."
- Offside: Sports Planet
This program is a youth drama with the central character Samuel, who is targeting National Soccer Championship with his companions – Rocky and Martin.
Samuel fails to take an entrance exam of Yokohama Minami high school, famous for its strong soccer team due to a traffic accident in which he saved his sister, Tina and enters Kawasaki high school together with his two teammates, Rocky and Martin. The soccer team of Kawasaki high school has just 11 members and is awfully weak. Samuel, however, does not give up his dream and tries hard to make his team strong enough to participate in the All Japan High School Soccer Championship overcoming various difficulties through friendship among his teammates and love with Nancy.

Action Man fights crime with the help of his elite multinational task force is trying to unlock the mystery of his past. This action-packed, youth-based action series, in the vein of 'James Bond' and 'Indiana Jones' is sure to thrill both children and parents alike.
- The Great Book of Nature: Adventure Planet
Composed of non-sequential episodes hosted by a bear, this series features various kinds of creatures, such as fish, insects and birds, while depicting their different habitats – whether sea, land or sky. At the end of each episode, the audience is treated to instructive sets of questions and answers that teach young viewers about a given creature's various kinds of behaviors.
- Bump in The Night: Comedy Planet
Bump in the Night revolves around three main characters and their misadventures, Mr. Farfu a small green purple warded monster living under the bed of a ten year old boy, where he eats dirty socks and dust bunnies as if they were delicacies. His best friends are Dadoosh, a blue monster that lives in the bathroom's toilet tank; and Lily, a Frankenstein's monster-like rag doll belonging to the boy's sister who acts as the straight man to the crazy antics of the other two. The show has a music video at the end of the episode, starring the three main characters and any minor characters involved in the episode.
- Wish Kid: Adventure Planet
When a shooting star from outer space blazes into the room of Nick, an adventurous nine year-old kid, he is granted one wish a week. The only problem is he never knows exactly when the wish is going to run out -- leaving him in some wild predicaments, launching him from one adventure to another. The show opens with Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone & Richie Rich) in a live-action appearance in which he explains the show's premise.
- Inspector Fabre: Adventure Planet
This animation series is inspired by "the Diary of Insects" written by Jean Henri Fabre, an outstanding French entomologist and author in the 19th Century. In his original works, Mr. Fabre vividly described the life of insects. In this series all the insects and bugs have been personified and drawn into marvelous animated characters.
This is the story of the exciting adventures of a crime-buster in the world of insects! Our hero's way of investigation is so unique and always ends with surprising solutions. The interesting ecology of various insects will be described while our 'cool' hero, Inspector Fabre, analyzes and unties the knots of crimes and conspiracy a la fashion of Sherlock Holmes!
