STEER, a globally acknowledged force in polymer processing machinery today announced that they have appointed M/s Taurus Comtrade FZCO as their partner to sell their entire portfolio of products across the MEAAT region (Middle East Asia, Africa & Turkey). This initiative of STEER will go a long way in supporting the regions’ need to develop down stream processing sector indigenously as polymer production continues to grow exponentially in this part of the world. Established in 2008, Taurus Comtrade, promoted by experienced professionals aims to provide polymer transformation and productivity solutions to support the Industry in the region.

STEER manufacture a large array of highly wear & corrosion resistant screw elements for co-rotating twin-screw extrusion users including several patented designs for performance enhancement, high performance extruder barrels, wear & corrosion resistant replacement liners for these barrels, ultra high strength shafts. STEER also manufactures components such as high torque gearboxes, side-feeders, Vacuum side-stuffers, die assembly, pelletizers, screen changers, volumetric and gravimetric feeders. STEER also take responsibility of providing the “Human Machine Interface” or the automation systems for integrating & managing the operations while ensuring a high level of safety (using interlocks) and reliability (using data logging systems).
