Suzlon Energy Australia (SEA) today welcomed passage of the Renewable Energy Target (RET) legislation that will help Australia achieve its target of 20% of electricity from renewable sources by 2020.
Dan Hansen, SEA’s Chief Executive said: “The passage of the Renewable Energy Target legislation marks an important milestone in Australia’s transition to a low carbon economy. The RET legislation will underpin the expansion of a thriving renewable energy industry in Australia, and will provide additional support for regional investment and clean energy jobs.
