1. Business Continuity Solutions

More From This Section

Users want to access their data anywhere, anytime. However occasional rejection of accessibility to data is a reality that no one can deny. Power failure, human intervention and various other factors might cause the same. In today's competitive world, where each second counts, what will your software systems do to automatically and quickly get your users back online is question that every enterprise needs to ask.

Sybase business continuity solutions reduce the cost of operating remote recovery while reducing business risk and ensuring data integrity.

  • Replication Server Software - Replication Server increases the flexibility and lowers the costs of managing multiple data management platforms. It ensures business continuity by providing bi-directional, heterogeneous replication and synchronization across enterprise, client/server, desktop and mobile systems.

Bradmark's database management solution for Sybase is the only cross-platform set of monitoring tools that satisfy all of customer's reactive and proactive infrastructure system management needs across their entire Sybase installation and beyond. It monitors and maintains all key infrastructure systems to maximize uptime and availability.

2. Enterprise Mobility Solutions

Mobility has evolved into a strategic component of business in enterprises today from a 'nice to have feature' from a few years back. It facilitates organizational efficiency, allowing work groups to communicate even while on the move.  Sybase's enterprise mobility solutions cater to the needs of this ever growing work force on the move.

Wipro will leverage Sybase's mobility platform to build custom mobile solutions as well as extend existing enterprise information and applications (including SAP, Business Objects, Remedy, Sybase ASE and SQL Anywhere, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM and others) directly to any mobile device.

The platform facilitates the integration, synchronization, messaging and mobile data management capabilities required to exchange information between mobile workers and enterprise systems. This enables timely decision making while improving efficiency and increasing profits.

  • Mobile Email - Nomadic employees can access and send email (including attachments) anywhere, anytime in a secure, bandwidth-efficient way.
  • Business Process Mobilization - With online and offline access to Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange email from mobile devices, Sybase enables mobile users (with mobile devices running Windows Mobile and Symbian operating systems) to initiate or complete business processes.
  • Mobile Device Management- Empowers organizations with the capability to manage and support remote devices to enforce corporate configuration standards, perform application updates, distribute and update data and other types of content and manage connections between devices and back-end systems in a cost effective manner.
  • Mobile Device Security - Allows IT staff to enforce corporate security policies, encrypt sensitive data residing on mobile devices and in transit between those devices and corporate systems, and to disable or wipe devices in the event that they are lost or stolen from a single, Web-based console.
