Taj Hotels among big winners at international Frequent Traveler Awards

The Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces is no stranger to awards and accolades. The company recently added another proud feather to its cap when the Taj InnerCircle was announced the ‘Hotel Program of the year’ – Asia, Middle East and Oceania at the very first annual Frequent Traveler Awards in Houston on November 4th 2010.  The Frequent Traveler awards are an offshoot of the prestigious ‘Freddies’ awards that recognized the best in frequent flier programmes.

The Taj InnerCircle is the frequent guest programme of the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. Besides a host of benefits, as a member you will earn points when you stay or stop by for a meal at one of the restaurants, at participating Taj Hotels in India and abroad. You will earn points on your eligible spends on room, food and beverage, laundry, telephone and business centre. The points are redeemable for holidays and memorable meals at the Taj and for gifts from a hand-picked selection of merchandise.

The Frequent Traveler Awards represent excellence in frequent travel programs worldwide, rating the best frequent flyer and frequent guest programs. Frequent flyer and frequent guest programs from around the world are pitted against each other in five categories. Voters then select programs in one of three global regions: Americas, Europe/Africa, and the Middle East/Asia and Oceania. In this first ever FTA awards, nearly one million votes were tabulated and quality controls were in place to try to keep individuals from submitting multiple votes.
