Photon Plus offers Mobile Broadband services with speeds upto 3.1Mbps

Tata Teleservices Limited, India’s fastest growing pan India telecom service provider, today announced the launch of Photon+ (Mobile Broadband Internet Device) in New Delhi.
Photon+ service can be accessed using two devices—Router for SMEs and Business Enterprises which is configured with an in-built modem and has Wi-Fi capabilities, and the USB Modem, for individual users and the SOHO segment.
Tata Photon+ wireless Broadband service is upto 20 times faster than existing mobile wireless technology.

Photon+ mobile broadband service allows customers to be connected—not only for mails, but also for downloads, large files uploads, photo sharing, etc. It also allows users to send and receive SMS and is compatible with both laptops and desktop PCs.
Available at a competitive price of Rs 3,500, customers can now simply plug in the device to the USB port of either their laptop or desktop PC and enjoy high-speed Internet connectivity. Additionally, the customer has an option to select his tariff plan based on his usage needs.

Alternatively, for the business segment, the Router is being made available at a refundable security deposit of Rs 6,999 and a one-time activation fee of Rs 1,000. The Router will enable simultaneous Internet use for multiple computers. There are multiple tariff plans to choose from, depending on usage needs and requirement. The Router, in turn, is equipped with four power antennae that ensure reliability and consistent services with no interruption from factors like physical change of wires and services disruption due to weather.
With Photon+, customers can avail the benefit of multiple infotainment services such as access to rich text and images, Web browsing, blogging, network on friendship sites and enter forms for travel, e-commerce, jobs, entertainment and more.
