Taurus MF launched a 370 days Fixed Maturity Plan (Series 2) on March 13th 2009. This plan focuses on investment in a portfolio of debt (including securitised debt) and money market instruments. This closed ended scheme with double indexation advantage is available until March 25, 2009.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Waqar Naqvi, CEO, Taurus MF said “This scheme is ideal for investors who wish to generate income while minimizing risk over the short term. This scheme fits into our belief of creating wealth for investors.”
The NFO caters to retail and institutional investors and is available in dividend and growth variants. However, the units can be traded on the NSE prior to redemption in demat mode. The benchmark index for this scheme is CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index.
