Traders Trophy Worldwide comes to India

The globally renowned student competition Traders Trophy Worldwide, arranged by Oxyor, will be held in India for the first time this year. The 2011 Traders Trophy India event is being presented by Religare Capital Market and is held in partnership with the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).

Traders Trophy Worldwide is a competition for students in trading financial instruments. Similar events have been held in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Switzerland, South Africa, USA, Sweden, Lebanon, The Netherlands and other countries around the globe. It is being held in 15 countries over 4 continents this year and the winners of each country will be invited for the world finals to be held in Amsterdam in May 2011.

In Traders Trophy Worldwide, the participants trade one or more securities in a fictive market. They trade with each other and fictive market players. Their results are based on profitability, risk management, client service and market awareness.

The qualification rounds of the India Traders Trophy is being held at the Kolkata, Bangalore and Ahmedabad campuses of Indian Institute of Management. The best 10 student traders from the qualification rounds at each of these Universities, will be invited for the final which will be held at the National Stock Exchange in Mumbai on 14th February, 2011. The best student trader of India will qualify for the world final in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in May 2011. The world finals will be a ten day event and will include intensive financial markets training for the participants by Oxyor.
