Unity Infraproject?s Q3 net revenue increases by 37% to Rs 401 cr

Unity Infraprojects Limited, a leading engineering and construction company with over two decades of experience in diverse areas of infrastructure development announced its unaudited results for the quarter ended 31st Dec, 2009.

During the quarter their net sales increased to Rs. 401.53 crores from Rs 293.96 crore, an increase of 36.65% over the same quarter, last year. At the same their PAT rose by 34.5% to Rs. 24.40 crore from Rs.18.14. The EPS improved by 24.6% to Rs.16.47.

During the quarter under consideration, the company raised Rs. 73.34 crores through QIP, issuing 14,49,476 equity shares of face value, Rs. 10 at Rs. 506/ per share.

During the quarter under consideration, the company bagged a contract of  Rs. 1145.88 Crores , in JV with IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd, for the Construction of a 8.3 km long Tunnel using Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) from Kapurbawdi to Bhandup Complex.  Unity Infraprojects, also bagged a prestigious contract for "Re-development of R.N.Cooper Hospital at Vile-Parle (West), Mumbai" from Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. The contract amounting to Rs. 265.39 Crores is to be completed within 36 months.

Unity Infraprojects has completed the re-modeling and up-gradation of Major Dhyanchand National Stadium in New Delhi well before the fast approaching, FIH World Cup slated to be played from 28th Feb to 13th March 2010. FIH President Mr. Negre has acclaimed the structure as World's Best Hockey Stadium. The revamped Major Dhyanchand National Stadium is the first among the Commonwealth Games venues handed over to Hockey Lovers on Sunday 24th January 2010.
