UTI’s 10,000 km long Investor Education Initiative is India’s largest
UTI Mutual Fund had launched its largest Investor Education Initiative called “Swatantra” for creating awareness about the concepts of financial planning and benefits of investing in mutual funds.
As a part of this initiative three UTI Knowledge Caravans have been travelling through the length and breadth of the country spreading financial literacy.
Today the three UTI Knowledge Caravans have culminated their journey at Kanyakumari
The Investor Education Initiative is in Partnership with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
The three UTI Knowledge Caravans have travelled through almost all the states in India and covered a total distance of about 10,000 kms. During their journey more than 1,300 Investors Meets have been conducted.
UTI Knowledge Caravans started their historic journey from three different locations viz. Porbandar (West), Jammu (North) and Guwahati (East) and completed their journey today at Kanyakumari (South).

On the occasion, Mr. Jaideep Bhattacharya, Chief Marketing Officer, UTI AMC said,” UTI Mutual Fund has successfully conducted the largest Investor campaign of spreading financial literacy across the country. We have covered over 300 cities in 100 days and spread financial literacy among more than 15 lakh people. The Investor Education Initiative was conducted in 10 different languages. This initiative aimed at creating investor awareness about different financial products, wealth creation options and employment generation. UTI Mutual Fund has used new formats for communicating about financial products like street plays, mobile, web campaigns, face book, twitter, financial calculators and planners.”
