Hong Kong, June 13 2007: ING Investment Management (ING IM) today announced that Vineet Vohra has joined as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for ING Investment Management India Pvt. Ltd. Vineet will be responsible for managing and growing ING's investment management business in India.Vineet has more than 19 years of rich experience in offshore and retail banking, wealth management and investments across the Asia-Pacific region, at Citibank N.A., based both in Singapore and India. In a recent position, as Regional Director and Business Head for the Asia Pacific Consumer Investments business, he played a key role in building Citibank's strong wealth management franchise in the region. An engineer by training, Vineet holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and is a CFA charter holder.Mike Ferrer, Regional General Manager for ING IM , stated: "We are delighted that Vineet has joined the ING IM India team at a time that we are expanding our asset management activities and product range in India, one of our key growth markets in Asia Pacific."Vineet will take over the reins of the business from Kavita Hurry, who will be leaving ING to pursue other interests outside the group.
