Addressing an ex-servicemen rally here, Bhushan called upon them to take benefits of the schemes run by the government.

The state government has formed a corporation to assist ex-servicemen in getting jobs and recruitments and all the veterans should enrol in the corporation with the help of Soldier Welfare Board, he said.

"There is quota for ex-servicemen in the state police service but many eligible candidates do not have knowledge so they can not join the force.

SW command took the initiative to motivate ex-servicemen to make attempt to get recruited in the police and as a result of that, 2,781 candidates have so far enrolled for the recruitment test," Bhushan said.

If required, the command would also arrange coaching classes for the exam preparations.

On the occasion, he also interacted with the veterans and visited all the 34 stalls set up at the ground to address their cases or complaints related to pension, re-settlement aspects, vocational training, rehabilitation and others.

Jaipur Collector T Ravikant and senior Army officers were also present on the occasion.
