The decision was taken at a review meeting of the Animal Husbandry department presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today, an official statement said here.

Chief Secreary A K Sinha quoting the CM said it was decided to popularise poultry and animal husbandry among the poor section to increase their income.
Sinha said it was decided that the state government would provide grant for setting up a mother unit, hatchery and boiler unit to promote poultry in the state.
