"The common man will face hardship with the quota of only six subsidised LPG cylinders in a year and the Centre, therefore, should consider distributing at least nine cylinders in a calendar year," the Steel Minister told reporters here.

The minister said that after the withdrawal of subsidy, a single non-subsidised cylinder would cost around Rs 900 -- which would pinch the pocket of the common man.

Reiterating support to FDI in various sectors, he said that after its implementation the Rupee had got stronger and situation of the share market was also improving.
