The benchmark index CSE-40 rose by 219.22 points during the week. The local bourse in the previous week was higher by 274.42 points.
The index opened at 6338.34 and during the week it gained to close at 6557.56.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 308.30 at close. Infosys Technologies rose to Rs 2596.60 at the end of the session.
Reliance Industries was firm at Rs 844 and State Bank of India ended at Rs 2211.20 to finish the week.
Tata Steel was up at Rs 407 at close and Twenty First Century was at Rs 326 at end of the week.
