Addressing the function, Selja said that the aim of the scheme was to provide free training with stipend to the needy students.
Stating 1590 youths had already been given this training, she said further 5,000 more youths would be benefited.
The minister said there was a big challenge before the country to generate job opportunities for the unemployed youths.
The scheme has been rolled out in association with the Haryana Tourism Corporation here.
Later talking to media persons, Selja said that the important historical monuments and cultural heritage sites would be renovated to make Haryana a tourist-friendly state.
Haryana had all potential to attract even foreign tourists, she added.
